Couldnt Find the Flux Capacitor

I took apart my Delorean Remaote control to see how many parts it was made of, what different materials was used. You can imagine that there would be a few parts to make up the remote control car but its not until you get inside you realise how much goes into making it.
50 seprate parts.
9 different materials
32 injection molded tools

Corker by Sebastian Bergne

Adding to hundereds and possibly thousands of cork screws, this design is ingenious as for the 1st 2 bottles you hav to indure the torture of being stabbed by the unprotected metal helix's

RiK Stool Design

This stool has been made by vacuum forming platic around a piece of wood. The ridges left behind during the forming process act as ribs which you would commonly find in plastic manufacture. This stoll is strong and highly durable and pretty straigh forward to make. These stools are hand make and each stool is unique as the ridges or ribs are different every time. Visit this guys website and have a look at his other work.

I thought of this concept the other day and thought it would be nice to show how it would look. This could work for Biro's also.

Fixers Collective

The Fixers’ Collective is a social experiment in improvisational fixing and mending. Our goals are:

1/ To increase material literacy in our community by fostering an ethic of creative caring toward the objects in our lives.

2/ To displace cultural patterns that alienate us from our things, by collectively learning the skills and patience necessary to care for them.

3/ To promote a counter-ethos that values functionality, simplicity, and ingenuity and that respects age, persistence and adequacy.

4/ To encourage our communities to take liberties with designated forms and purposes, resulting in mended objects that exist both as art and within a utilitarian context.

For the past year and a half, we have been meeting weekly in a small work-space in the back of Proteus Gowanus, and have fixed hundreds of objects that have been brought through our doors.

Reuse & Recycle

Pretty funny use for an empty CD case, not its original function and definatly not intended to be reused. Bagels are often tricky to wrap up with film or foil, but this old CD case simplifies an often frustrating task.

Sketch of the day

Book Cover Graphics

Hard not to judge a book by its cover and possibly harder when your not a trained graphic artist.

I designed this book cover at the begining of 2010, inspired to do something bold and kwerky! The black and white colours covey the information without complication and the arrangement of font helps it stand out from the pack.

A fantastic read and well worth the £7.99 price tag. Available from Amazon -http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1907590005

Prototype Buggy

Recently completed prototype off road buggy. I have been working with the off road armoury (again) to design and develop this protptype off road buggy. The light weight chassis starts production shortly and is designed for extreme off road race event's. My involvement with this project was to design many specialised componants which are integral to the overall design.

Competition. I also co-pilot this prototype vehicle in the off road race events which is alot of fun.
